Here is our how to breakdown of Chris Paul’s signature Under the Legs Pass Fake Move. Other shifty NBA players like Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, Rajon Rondo and Jeremy Lin use this to freeze the D and get to the basket. Now go destroy some defenders!!!

Hi I’m Coach Collin Castellaw with Shot Mechains.com and today we are going to learn the Chris Paul UTL Ball Fake. Chris Paul just might be the best passer in the universe and a lot of times he can use a ball fake to get a wide open look for himself. This ball fake is not an easy one to do but once it is mastered it can get you a ton of wide open layups. Let’s check it out and we will see how Chris Paul drops some dimes. So this is a transition move, this move is really just a change of pace partnered with a head fake. If you do it correctly it should give you an open lane to the basket pretty much every time. So as you approach your defender this move really only works if you have a trailer behind you. As Chris Paul gets into scoring position he wraps the ball between his legs acting like it’s a pass to the trailer. He throws in a head fake as if he’s looking to see where his pass is going. This freezes the defender for just a split second so Chris Paul can explode by him for the easy layup. And that’s how you do it. Fake the pass to the trailer behind ya, the defense jumps and you get a wide open look for yourself. I want to take a quick moment to thank our sponsor Timber Beast bow ties.
